Happy 1st AnniversaryLightshadow drew up this image in honor of The Sonic Oasis' first anniversary. The Sonic Oasis sends its warmest and most sincere gratitude for your gesture, Lightshadow. :)
Amy RoseHere's Amy Rose in my new style. I really like this one a lot. This pic makes up for the horrendously horrible pics of Amy I drew in the past *shudder*. She's so cute, too! Amy is © 1999 to SEGA / Archie. Art © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Young AntoineWhen "Sonic Kids" came out, I couldn't resist the temptation of drawing my favourite Sonic Character as a kid! AWWW!! It's Antoine, hand drawn and 3 hours' worth of computer colouring... oy. I LOVE this one so very much! Horrah! One of my best. Antoine is © 1999 Archie/DiC. Artwork © 1999 to S. Ratté.
KnucklesKnuckles Echidna in my new style. I love this one! I like his dreads and tail in this pic. The expression is cute too. Another fave. Knux is © 1999 to SEGA/Archie. Artwork © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Manic 1After watching Sonic Underground for the first time on Teletoon, I was inspired to draw a pic of Manic, Sonic's brother. I like Manic. It must be the hair =) This pic turned out really nice. His expression's cute =) He's giving the thumbs up while holding his drumsticks. Manic © 1999 SEGA/Archie/DiC/TFI. Art © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Manic 2Yet another pic of my favourite SU char, Manic. This pic turned out SO good! It think I was originally drawing SuperSonic, but the pic turned out to be Manic instead. The pose is really cool in this pic, and the excellence of this pic amazes me, since I usually don't like my pics =p. The shoes are cute. (Oy, I need a life.) Manic © 1999 SEGA/Archie/DiC/TFI. Art © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Sonic & TailsBoredom had befallen me when I decided to draw this pic. It's of Sonic and Tails in my Furry Art Style. I REALLY like how sonic turned out! His hair is SOOO cool! Tails doesn't look much different, but oh well. Sonic and Tails © 1999 to SEGA/Archie/Dic. Artwork and style © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Sega TeamA fairly old pic of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles standing next to a badly drawn SEGA logo. I think the chars were meant to be drawn superdeformed, but I'm not sure. Suprisingly, though, I still find this pic *good*, meaning it's still worth looking at. All are © 1998 to SEGA of America/Japan / Archie / DiC Art © 1998 to S. Ratté.
Sonic 1The very first pic of Sonic I *scanned* before I had a scanner. It's computer coloured, and horrible (okay, it's not THAT bad =p). I think this is a rough drawing I had to do for something, but for what, it bypasses my brain at the moment =p Sonic © 1997 SEGA/Archie/DiC. Artwork © 1997 S. Ratté.
Sonic CrewAn awesome pic of Sonic, Kux, and Tails together. One of the very few group pics that ever turn out well for me. Tails is really cute in this pic, and if you look really closely, you can see I shaded Knux's leg with an orange by accident... oy. But it's still a good pic.
Sonic 2Sonic in my new Sonic style. I love this pic. It's one where the BG colour scheme actually looks GOOD with the foreground! And the text turned out nice for a change. Yes! The only prob I have with this is the right hand. It's doing a 360 thing. Oy. This one's one of my faves. Sonic © 1999 SEGA/Archie/DiC. Artwork © 1999 to S. Ratté.
Sonic RunWowzers! look how good this pic is, and look how old it is! I drew this after "Sonic Firsts" came out, 'cause Sonic was SO cute on the cover. NEway, considering how old this pic is, I still like it very much. Horrah! Sonic © 1997 SEGA/Archie/DiC. Original pose © 1997 Archie Comics. Artwork © 1997 S. Ratté.
Sonic & Tails 2Another old pic of Sonic and Tails in my *old* new Sonic style, when the Sonic Animé first got word around the Internet. I like this one, EXCEPT for Sonic's arms. I drew them WAY too fat. Oy. And I have to stop putting shadows underneath my characters when I don't plan to put them standing on solid ground. =p Sonic & Tails © 1998 SEGA/Archie/DiC. Art © 1998 S. Ratté.
SuperSonic BWAn old but nice pic of SuperSonic in black and white. You can tell this pic was a rough sketch that I enhanced with the computer. I still like this one, tho. I like the style, but, unfortunately, I can't draw like that NEmore... =p Oy. SS © 1998 to SEGA of America/Japan; Archie. Art © 1998 to S. Ratté.
SuperSonicAnother old pic of SuperSonic, this time with miserable computer enhancements done to it. I swear I knew where this pic went, I'd rescan it. Sonic's also in a different style in this pic too. The hair is cool, but the face, I shoulda stuck with the old style. When I scanned the image in, I lightened it too much and didn't have my tolerance set high enuff for colouring the BG. Oy. Ah well. SS © 1998 to SEGA of America/Japan; Archie. Art © 1998 to S. Ratté.
SuperSonic 2An excellent pic of SuperSonic! Actually, this was supposed to be a pic of UltraSonic (or SuperDuper Sonic, whichever you prefer), but the thought of a multi-coloured Sonic didn't work for me, so I made him SuperSonic. This is hand drawn and computer coloured, like most of my compu-coloured pics. I really like the yellow chisel FX I did on this too. Yay! Yet another picture worth looking at. SS © 1999 SEGA and/or Archie. Artwork © 1999 to S. Ratté.
ZonicWell, we all know how terrible SSS#8 was (crowd "Eews"), but at least it gave us an interesting new character, Zonic the Zone Cop, the "Sideways Guy", hence why this pic is sideways (and NO, I didn't actually draw it sideways. That's what computers are for). It looked weird to me when I turned it sideways, but I've gotten used to it. [If it annoys you, feel free to turn it right-side up]. A good pic. Zonic © 1999 to Archie. Art © 1999 to S. Ratté.
